WhAT IS THE c.s.c.?
The Christian Student Center (CSC) of the Ruston Church of Christ at Louisiana Tech is a student-led, student body organization which seeks to both evangelize the gospel of Christ on campus and develop future leaders for the Church within the organization, through student classes, devotionals, fellowship, and both on and off-campus events.
Mission Statement:
To guide students into a deeper relationship with Christ through Scripture, spiritual friendship, service, and intentional campus presence, so they grow into faithful, active members of the Lord’s church.
Our four main ministry anchors:
Belonging
As Christians who are unashamed of the Gospel (Rom. 1:16), we strive to walk in faith, share the Scripture, and encourage, exercise, and improve biblical literacy amongst all who walk through our doors.
Becoming
Our membership is held to the standard of being a living ministry that fulfills God’s calling for the Christian life to the best of our ability through transformation, leadership, and service that is not insular, but outward-reaching.
Inviting
Like any church or Christ-centered organization, the C.S.C. is called according to the Great Commission to make disciples. We try our best to reach out to as many people as possible to teach them the Gospel of Christ.
We at the C.S.C. are intentional in ensuring that members and guests alike feel welcome. We carry this out through prioritizing fellowship, hospitality, and community with all who the C.S.C. has the blessing of meeting.
